The UK retailer, GAME, has released 20 minutes of Assassins Creed Origins footage from the Xbox one X in full 4k glory.

The footage shows much of what we have seen before using your drone hawk to scout out missions before undertaking them and some general horse riding and boating about. This is, however, the first time we have been able to fully appreciate the game at 4k and boy is it beautiful. The sharpness of the textures and models is undeniably superior to anything we saw at E3 and most impressively there seems to be no sign of frame drops.

Something else I don’t remember being previously shown is the underwater environment of AC:origins shown here at around the 6 minute mark.

Assassins Creed Origins will be available on PS4, Xbox one and PC on October 27th.
